A completely sociopathic race?

Even though it may seem impossible, there is a wholly savage race. Known in scientific circles as the Austronesian race and to rustic New Zealanders as "hoppers", they are of a kind not full recognised beyond the realm of the pacific nations.
In this category belong the Malays, Tongans, Samoans, native Hawaiians, Niueans, Tokelauans, Maoris, Kiribatians, aboriginal Taiwanese, Indonesian, and Filipinos. These dark people are well-documented and are thoroughly addressed in anthropology. They appear to be mainly mongoloid in stock, with the Y-DNA being a sign of Australoid descent from Melanesians and/or Negritos. Their kind is far-flung and diverse yet readily similar in behaviour and appearance. Incredibly warlike and destructive, the native lands of the pacific have never been stable since their arrival.
 The history of the Maori is the epitome of the Austronesian man. The original inhabitants of New Zealand were not Maori. In ancient tales, the fair-skinned 'turehu' were exterminated from the island by the warlike Maori who quickly called it their own land. This is only the beginning to how they lived. During their entire history as the Maori, they split into separate tribes and began to battle for supremacy in endless bloodbaths. The practice of cannibalism was considered 'holy' amongst them; as well as human sacrifice to the tiki gods. Beyond all doubt they were savages. They killed James Cook too.
